Since 1 July 2014 steel constructions have to comply with NEN EN 1090.
NEN EN 1090 is a European standard and forms part of the CPR Directive (Construction Products Regulation) or the “Construction Products Regulation”. Construction products that comply with these regulations can be recognized by their CE marking. The CE marking applies, for example, to steel structures for buildings, bridges, landing floors and pipe supports.
Verhoeven Construction is certified in accordance with NEN EN 1090 and may issue a CE mark up to and including execution class 3 (maximum sheet thickness 25 mm, and head and foot plates maximum 50 mm).
